Arizona State University Palo Verde Residence Hall Breaks Ground
SCB is proud to celebrate the ground breaking of a Palo Verde Residence Hall, a new $120 million living/learning facility at Arizona State University with American Campus Communities. This is the firm’s eighth project with ACC, and second at ASU. The new 7-story, 450,000-square-foot facility will house 1,594 students enrolled in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering and feature amenities such as a 500-seat dining hall and E-Space maker lab, which will provide students with a conveniently located space outfitted for continued work and experimentation. The project is projected to reach LEED Gold certification.
“Arizona State University is committed to providing world-class living and learning facilities to its students,” said Morgan Olsen, Executive Vice President, Treasurer and CFO at ASU. “This new residential college for the Fulton Schools of Engineering will provide that environment for almost 1,600 Sun Devils and highlights the continually rising quality of the research, education and experience at ASU.”
