SAN FRANCISCO (November 2017) – SCB is pleased to announce that Matt Pietras, AIA, LEED AP has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as an Associate Principal in the Campus Environments practice group. A proponent of strategic thinking supported by data and analytics, Matt’s 20 years of experience will augment SCB’s higher education practice, providing additional value to the firm’s college and university clients.

“This is the 10th anniversary of our San Francisco office and with that milestone we are celebrating the continued growth and success of our higher education practice,” said Tim Stevens, Principal and Director of SCB San Francisco’s Campus Environments practice. “We have been fortunate to work on some great projects up and down the west coast and are looking forward to expanding our campus presence with Matt’s added expertise and leadership.”

Most recently, Matt was the Director of Architecture at MKThink, an architecture and strategy firm in San Francisco where he worked on projects for Stanford University, Golden Gate University, and WeWork.
