SCB Celebrates Promotion of Two Studio Leaders in Chicago Office
Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) is pleased to announce the promotions of Joseph Dietz, AIA, LEED AP BD+C and James Jeffs, AIA, LEED AP, to Studio Leader in Chicago.
Known for his solution-focused management style, Joe has overseen high-rise residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse projects across the country. Currently he is serving as a project manager for 350 North Canal in Chicago and the Flagler Arts & Technology (FAT) Village in Ft. Lauderdale.
“Joe’s breadth of knowledge across project types makes him a natural to serve in this new leadership role,” said SCB President Chris Pemberton, AIA. “He is a great collaborator with both clients and design teams alike.”
Drawing upon two decades of experience, James assumes the Studio Leader position at Studio ORD, where he is focused on the technical design and delivery of the new 2.2 million-square-foot O’Hare Global Terminal.
“James’ eye for technical accuracy and his contributions to the design process are noteworthy,” stated Mark Frisch, FAIA, LEED AP, SCB Principal and Principal-in-Charge at Studio ORD. “He has been instrumental in building and maintaining the team’s dedication to design excellence on this transformational project for our city.”
