FBI Baltimore Field Office
SCB provided complete architectural and interior design services for a General Service Administration (GSA) sponsored and developer-led new Field Office for the Baltimore Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Woodlawn, Maryland.
Included in the facility is a four-story, Class-A office building, a one-story vehicle operations building, and a covered secure parking structure on an 11-acre site. All three structures are architecturally integrated and are arranged to form an exterior courtyard. This courtyard features a central fountain surrounded by patterned paving that creates a secure and pleasant outdoor space for employee gatherings and relaxation.
The project incorporates first-class finishes and unique design elements throughout to convey a corporate headquarters level of quality and design. A vehicle-resistant perimeter barrier incorporating electronic monitoring systems protects the entire facility. SCB’s services included development and tracking of the project’s sustainable design and LEED-based initiatives.
