Chester Mietus is a Technical Director in SCB’s Interior Design studio. With 25+ years of experience in architecture and interior design, Chester oversees quality control procedures; provides detailed technical support to project teams and interior designers; assists with technical detail development; and works to identify new materials and systems. Chester is an active collaborator and is focused on a team-based approach to achieve the best possible design solution. His portfolio of work includes corporate office, hospitality, and residential projects.

Most recently, Chester has worked on over 15 United Clubs throughout the nation, including three new Polaris Lounges; the new Valvoline headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky; the offices of Hinshaw & Culbertson in Chicago; One South Wacker and 303 E Wacker, two repositioning of a Class A office towers in downtown Chicago; and numerous multifamily residential projects including Hub50House in Boston, 505 in Nashville, and Marquee at Chicago’s Block 37.

Chester received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
